This young man was standing on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh today. He was holding one end of a banner for Dolce Vita, a sketch show put on by Bristol Revunions. I thought he looked how someone from an American rock band in the 70s might look.
I wish I could tell you her name – and someone did mention it on a Google+ thread but I can’t find it. I remember that her stage name was ‘Bendy ….’ and that was because she passed unstrung tennis rackets down the length of her body.
I photographed her on the street in Edinburgh in 2012. If anyone knows her name or her stage name etc. please contact me with the details.
She is from Bepo and Co – circus performers from the Unwise Theatre that I photographed in 2011.
He was playing at Summerhall in Edinburgh at the Maker’s Fair in 2013. I remember he was playing something that I guess I would call a xylophone and keeping the beat and the tune.
So what you see here is him playing while he is looking at me for the photo.
I photographed this man on the street during the Edinburgh Festival in 2013.
He was playing in She Dances With Fate a flamenco, hip-hop, shamanistic dubstep production by Two Pentacles, from Albuquerque, New Mexico.
I like the warpaint and the way it contrasts with the sunglasses.
